The Tale of the Grumblebum

AI video test

I’m currently working on a short story that I’m just going to turn into a video with AI. I have the tools, so might as well make it more than just text on a page or screen since I can.

I of course had to start off by writing the story, which I guess isn’t entirely true. Freestyle story telling is a thing, but that isn’t the point. After writing the voice I wanted a character. I kind of had an idea of the voice, but I wanted to see the character I ultimate went with before assigning it a voice.

Now that I had my image, it was time to create the voice. I had a direction in mind already since I know my voice library well. I went 0.7 blend ratio for Adam and George. The combination of the voices makes a good clean sound and I like the annunciations they make. So I blend these voices to make my base voice. Yes, it’s mostly Adam, but George does add to the sound, the contribution is important for how the end result comes out.

Next, we morph it. Being able to generate a base voice with Kokoro with specific blends allows me to craft unique voices that fit exactly with what I envision the voice of the character should sound like.

And the end result is of course the test video at the top. This is one of my processes for creating with the assistance of AI.

Thank you for reading and watching, hope you enjoyed this quick knowledge and example drop.
